HOBOKEN – Deborah Sue White Chesser, 69, of Hoboken passed away Monday morning, July 25, 2022 at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, Mrs. Chesser’s parents were James White and Elizabeth Glydewell. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chesser; two sons, James Michael White and Billy Bland; and a brother, Jimmy White.

Mrs. Chesser was a member of Ivory Palace. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, gardening, feeding the birds, fishing and shopping.

Survivors include her daughter, Christy Drury of Hoboken; six grandchildren, Casey Mendoza (Dabid), Kylee Moore, Lauren Moore, Remington Jordan, Brooke White and Alexis White; several great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles White (Sue) and John White all of Hickox; a sister, Judy Griffin of Hickox; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A funeral service was held Thursday afternoon, July 28, 2022 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Rowell and Mrs. Joyce Ann Long officiating.

Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dabid Mendoza, Travis Pittman, Brooks Crews, Jeremy Jones, Michael Moore and Charlie Peacock.

Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
